By Hand 2010: Unity and Diversity in BC /Yukon Contemporary Craft

January 11 - April 14, 2010

I have had two pieces selected for this show presented by the Crafts Association of BC and the Vancouver Museum. The exhibit will be comprised of three sections, the BC/Yukon show, a National Exhibition from the Canadian Pavilion of the Cheongju International Craft Biennale in South Korea, and 60 works from the Biennale Exhibition at the Korean Craft Museum. It promises to be an exciting selection of Canadian and international crafts showcased for the 2010 Olympics and the Canada-Korea Cultural Exchange.

B.C. In a Box - Fingerplay
In March 2008, one of my porcelain pieces was chosen to receive the Award of Excellence in the B.C. Potters Guild show "Fingerplay".

It was chosen out of 75 pieces by 2 judges, Liane Davison, curator of the Surrey Art Gallery, and Julie York, Head of Ceramics at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design. The show is traveling around B.C. and will finish its tour at the Gallery of B.C. Ceramics on Granville Island, Vancouver in February, 2009.
